Gas Log Installation in Dallas-Fort Worth
Tired of hauling firewood, or ready to replace an old, worn-out gas log set? We install new gas log sets and burners in fireplaces across Dallas-Fort Worth. We start with a free inspection of your fireplace and chimney, help you pick a set that fits, and install it so it looks good and works safely.
Free Inspection and Same-Day Appointments
Before we install anything, we check the firebox, damper and chimney for free and measure the opening so the new set fits right. Same-day appointments are available, and we are open evenings until 9pm Sunday through Thursday.
Signs It's Time for New Gas Logs
- Logs that are cracked, crumbling, or covered in black soot
- A weak, uneven, or mostly blue flame
- A burner that is hard to light or keeps going out
- A gas smell or soot on the walls around the fireplace (turn the fireplace off and get it checked right away)
- You are switching from wood to gas and want a cleaner, easier fire
Vented or Vent-Free Logs
Vented gas logs give the most realistic, full flame and send their exhaust up the chimney, so the damper has to stay open while they are used. Vent-free logs burn cleaner and put more heat into the room, but they are not allowed in every fireplace or home. We will look at your fireplace and explain which type makes sense for you.
Getting the Size Right
A log set that is too big or too small looks wrong and can burn poorly. We measure the front width, back width, depth and height of your firebox and match the set and burner to your fireplace, so the flame looks natural and fills the space.
Switching from Wood to Gas
If you used to burn wood, the chimney should be cleaned and checked before gas logs go in. Leftover soot and creosote can cause odors and problems with the new set. We can take care of the chimney cleaning and the installation together.
Common Questions
Do you install gas logs in my city?
Yes. We install gas log sets across Dallas-Fort Worth, including Dallas, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Richardson, Fort Worth and the surrounding cities.
Is the inspection really free?
Yes. We check your fireplace, chimney and damper for free and tell you what size and type of log set fits before any work starts.
Should my chimney be cleaned before I install gas logs?
If you used to burn wood, yes. Soot and creosote should be cleaned out first, and the flue should be checked so the new logs vent properly.
